Pastor Carol
It is a great privilege to be serving here at NCC as your half-time, Interim Pastor. I am so excited and inspired by this experiment of discerning how we can share ministries and resources together with your friends and neighbors at LUCC!
I live in Wrentham, MA where I was a member of the Original Congregational Church for over 20 years. During my time there, I was a member of the choir, chaired many committees, and taught Sunday School. I started a handbell choir which I directed full-time for 10 years. I miss singing more than anything!
In my early career, I worked in the computer industry managing custom software engineering, project management, and customer support groups. My husband, is a Principle Software Engineer for Abbot. Our daughter is a Graphic Designer, working part-time at WaterFire in Providence, RI. She has also launched her own jewelry business. Our son began his college journey at Rochester Institute of Technology in New York state, but he has transferred to Berklee College of Music in Boston.
For fun, I write, quilt, play Scrabble and Upwords against my computer, and I have been binging on all the seasons of Great British Baking, even though I have already seen every one!
I was a Theater Arts major at Douglass College – the Women’s college of Rutgers University in New Jersey, and I received my Masters of Divinity from Andover Newton Theological School. I also earned my certificate in Spiritual Direction taking a BC post-graduate course in Spiritual Formation.
May God bless our ministry together!
