Sunday School
Children are an important part of our church family. We believe that building relationships with children, providing curriculum that is age appropriate and relevant to their lives, and allowing children to grow one step at a time are essential steps in their relational and spiritual development.

We seek to partner with parents to provide a spiritual foundation that will help each child to know and follow Christ.

We welcome all children. If your child has any special needs, please let us know so we can do our best to provide extra attention and care and provide a meaningful experience for all children.

We follow a simple strategy for spiritual education:

Apply God's truth so that childrenknow both what they believe and why. This includes adding real-life community missions experience to the lessons learned in the classroom.

Build relationships between teachers and children that will provide strong and lasting support.

Create learning environments that employ a range of activities to teach God's word in fun and engaging ways.
Partnership to teach our children
Experienced teachers and dedicated parents prepare the lessons and lead the activities each week. Parents and other members of the church are encouraged to help in any way they can, and new volunteers are always welcome.
Curriculum
Each year, we study several different Bible stories that help children to learn about God and encourages them to live as disciples of Jesus Christ. Recent Bible stories we have studied include the Easter story, Moses and the ten commandments, and Jonah.

Classes are interactive and feature a variety of workshops to help teach the given lesson. These workshops include storytelling, music, cooking and art projects.

Each year the children also put on a Christmas program, and a special children's service is held each spring.
Schedule
Sunday School is held at the church and runs from September through May on Sunday mornings before the worship service.

Sunday School Starts:    9:15 AM
Sunday School Ends:    10:15 AM

Please pick up children promptly
